Before heading back to Angkor Wat on my first day in Cambodia, my driver dropped me off at Prasat Bayon. This area consisted of Prasat Bayon, Baphuon, the Elephant Terrace, and the Leper King Terrace. There were a lot of steps at Prasat Bayon and Baphuon, which led to beautiful views.
At the top of Baphuon, I took in the view out over the crowd. Much like the views from the Giant Buddha in Leshan, these photos don’t quite capture the size and awe of seeing it with your own eyes.
