Last weekend’s seafood festival in Belmar reminded me that it’s been a while since I last visited the Jersey Shore. Although I’ve lived in New Jersey most of my life, I’ve only been to the shore a few times — the first time was when I was 17.
A few years ago I took my first journey to Cape May, but visited at the end of the season to avoid the crowds. Sunset from Sea View Park is a must on any visit to Cape May — there’s even a view of the lighthouse in the distance.
