My overly simple Thanksgiving has come and gone — I bought a package of turkey lunch meat and a cheap roll. It was pretty good when I topped it with a potato latke for Hanukkah as well. And it went even better with a bottle of The Little Penguin Shiraz, which was only $6.50 at AEON (possibly the best wine I’ve had for that price).
Rather than dwell on holidays away from family, I decided to find a more serene photo for this Friday. This was taken on the way back to Enoshima station at the end of the sunset over the island. It was more impressive to watch the sunset from the train back from Karamura, but I couldn’t snap a picture fast enough on the crowded train.
